At the Heart of Motorsports: Our Students on Internships with Leading Players in the Industry

3 July 2026

The Specialized Master’s® in Motorsport Engineering Performance offered by ESTACA is designed to provide students with high-level skills and expertise in the field of motorsports. This six-year post-baccalaureate program, taught in English, combines courses led by experts, track days, simulator training, real-world industrial projects, and hands-on industry experience through a six-month internship. Here’s a closer look at the professional experience students gain.

An internship period to gain meaningful experience

The six-month internship allows students to apply their skills in a professional environment and gain their first meaningful work experience. This year, they joined a variety of teams and projects across all categories of motorsports (F2/F3/F4, WEC, GT3, LMP3), thanks to major partners who place their trust in us: Art Grand Prix, Prema Racing, Alpine Racing, Michelin Motorsport, Mahindra Racing, Racing Technology, Code Racing, Xcel Motorsport, 23 Events Racing, Hyundai Motor Racing, WRT, Sainteloc, DAMS, and Com To You Racing.

Here are a few examples of internships this year:

  • Maude joined MICHELIN MOTORSPORT as a tire performance analyst in MotoGP.
  • Pierre is working on developing tools to measure key performance indicators at DAMS.
  • Domitille is developing real-time data analysis tools at WRT.
  • Edwin performs dynamic vehicle analyses at HYUNDAI MOTOR RACING
  • Louise creates and refines race preparation files at CODE RACING
  • Ebe works on data tracking, analysis, and development in GT3 at COM TO YOU RACING
  • Gabriel works on reliability analysis, the implementation and configuration of tools, data collection and processing, as well as the use of that data to support decision-making in F4 at PREMA RACING

These career paths illustrate the diversity of the assignments entrusted to our students and their successful integration into the most demanding organizations in motorsports.

A program designed to meet the specific needs of motorsports

This Specialized Master’s® in Motorsport Engineering Performance helps address the specific skill needs of the motorsports sector; it is open to international and French students who hold a master’s degree (preferably in a scientific field) or who have completed five years of engineering studies.

Holders of a bachelor’s degree (3 to 4 years of study) followed by at least 3 years of professional experience are also eligible. Applicants must also demonstrate a level of English certified by an official test.
