Ferrari Conference: Exciting Career Opportunities
Teams from Ferrari Maranello (Italy) visited ESTACA on Monday, March 23, bringing along an SF90 Assetto Fiorano! The program included a presentation on Ferrari’s DNA, the brand’s activities, and career opportunities within Ferrari (racing, engineering, sales, and more). Inspiring testimonials and discussions for our students, offering promising concrete prospects for their future.
Discovering Ferrari and inspiring testimonials
During this conference, students explored the Ferrari universe and its DNA rooted in innovation, excellence, and performance. The following individuals traveled to Laval to meet with the students: Dennis de Munck, Head of University Relations, Ferrari (Maranello), Teodora Soit-Vizante, Systems Engineer and Energy Recovery System (ERS) Engineer, Ferrari F1 (Maranello); and Anas Gamraoui, Sales Specialist, Ferrari West Europe (Levallois). They presented their technical work related to motorsports—a cornerstone of Ferrari—as well as their commercial activities, offering a comprehensive overview of the company’s professions and challenges.
Teodora spoke about her experience at the Scuderia F1 Engineering Academy and the projects she is working on. Anas shared his experience at the SportsCar Academy, based in both Maranello and France.
A special opportunity to gather valuable advice
During her speech, Teodora Soit-Vizante emphasized the importance of getting involved in student projects such as Formula Student or the Shell Eco-marathon. These experiences help develop rigor, a strong work ethic, curiosity, and a spirit of innovation—all qualities highly sought after by recruiters. She also noted that each application undergoes an individualized evaluation, including tests designed to assess how well candidates’ profiles align with values such as teamwork, commitment, growth, and the ability to tackle major challenges together. In this context, a strong academic background is a real asset, as she noted while highlighting the quality of the education provided at ESTACA.
For his part, Anas Gamraoui emphasized the importance of collective intelligence in the success of any project. Whether in competition or in business, performance is always the result of effective teamwork. He also highlighted the importance of continuous learning, which is essential for thriving in an environment of constant innovation, where every day brings new technical and human challenges.
Career Opportunities at Ferrari for ESTACA Students
The conference also highlighted career opportunities, with a focus on potential career paths and the application process for joining the group.
This is also an opportunity to introduce the Scuderia Ferrari F1 Engineering Academy, based in Maranello, Italy, which is seeking talented individuals to join the highly stimulating, dynamic, and demanding work environment of the Ferrari F1 team. The program begins with a six-month internship, after which participants may be eligible for a long-term position within the Ferrari F1 team. Many ESTACA students have completed this training before joining the company.
“What we’re looking for are committed individuals who can work in a team and have a vision for the future,” explains Dennis de Munck.
At the end of the presentation, concrete internship offers were presented to the students. The Ferrari speakers were unanimous: the brand’s future talent lies among the ESTACA students!
The Q&A session following the presentations allowed students to ask questions, particularly about the future of the automotive industry, fully illustrating what drives ESTACA’s automotive program: passion and innovation.
