Company Visits: An Immersion for Our 3rd-Year Students
In February, over 500 3rd-year students from ESTACA’s three campuses were welcomed by our partner companies. These annual visits offer future graduates a concrete immersion in the transport and mobility sectors, allowing them to discover the inner workings of industries, understand current engineering challenges, and engage directly with professionals and active alumni.
A pedagogical experience at the heart of companies
As integral parts of the academic curriculum and designed to complement theoretical training, company visits give students privileged access to technological innovations. Through job presentations, lab immersions, workshops, test centers, and technology platforms, students can envision their future careers and explore real-world projects led by engineers. These privileged moments allow students to concretely grasp the daily challenges faced by engineering teams: innovation, performance, safety, energy transition, and mobility transformation.
Valuable exchanges with professionals and alumni
Beyond discovering activities and facilities, the visits also provide opportunities for meaningful exchanges with professionals, company stakeholders, and alumni. Students can ask questions, understand expected skills, learn about the careers of practicing engineers, and thus deepen their understanding of the professional world and refine their career plans.
