CFD Summer Program 2026: Dive into Computational Fluid Dynamics at ESTACA
Ready to boost your skills in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and explore the world of aeronautics and aerospace engineering?
After a successful 2025 edition, ESTACA is launching the CFD Summer Program 2026 — a four-week intensive summer school in aerodynamics, fluid mechanics and numerical simulation, fully taught in English and designed for international engineering students.
Hosted at ESTACA Paris-Saclay, this program combines high-level academics, hands-on simulation and direct exposure to the French aerospace ecosystem.
Why join the CFD Summer Program?
Because CFD is everywhere in aerospace: aircraft design, flow optimisation, turbulence modelling, safety analysis… and it’s a key skill for your future career.
During the program, you will:
- Strengthen your knowledge in fluid dynamics and aerodynamics
- Work on practical CFD simulations
- Explore real aeronautics case studies
- Meet experts from leading research institutions such as ONERA
- Experience student life in France
What students say
Students from the 2025 edition describe the program as a real turning point.
Madhavan (University of Southampton, UK) explains:
“This program has deepened my understanding of CFD and turbulence, which I can further apply to my research. I believe this program could shape my career as an aeronautical engineer.”
Maen (Curtin University, Australia) highlights the industry exposure:
“Engaging with experts from ONERA was very enlightening. Pursuing knowledge in the way they do is something I find very inspiring.”
And for Pratham (University of Southampton, UK), it was the perfect balance:
“It was the perfect mix of aerodynamics, company visits, and culture.”
