ESTACA Strengthens and Intensifies its International Academic Collaborations

ESTACA is offering new study destinations for exchange semesters and rewarding international training opportunities for its students. More recently, the School visited India and Belgium to strengthen its influence abroad and develop opportunities for academic exchange.
ESTACA at APAIE in New Delhi
ESTACA’s first participation in the international APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education) trade fair in New Delhi, India, from March 24 to 28, was a great success. Considered the largest higher education event in Asia-Pacific, APAIE brings together over 2,000 participants from 60 countries every year. For ESTACA, this was a unique opportunity to showcase its expertise, consolidate its academic and scientific partnerships, and explore new opportunities for collaboration in this key region.
India, the host for the 2025 event, is also a strategic challenge for France, which aims to welcome 30,000 Indian students by 2030. ESTACA’s participation in the show is therefore fully in line with the school’s strategy of strengthening academic links and expanding student and teacher mobility.
Our presence at the APAIE trade show in India also enabled us to visit several of the School’s partner universities:
- Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), Chennai
Exchanges have strengthened cooperation and promoted student and teacher mobility, opening up new prospects for both institutions. - Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
ESTACA is keen to renew and develop this academic partnership, in particular by welcoming Vel Tech students to its English-speaking programs in order to increase the international presence on its campuses. - Manipal University Jaipur & MAHE Manipal University, Jaipur / Manipal
A meeting with representatives of both universities in Jaipur confirmed a shared desire to strengthen cooperation, particularly in terms of academic staff exchanges. Students from ESTACA are already taking part in a semester-long exchange program. - Chitkara University, Rajpura
A long-standing partner, but one whose cooperation has so far been limited. The discussions provided an opportunity to promote ESTACA’s range of training courses and re-launch active collaboration.
New partnerships in Belgium
ESTACA is also continuing its commitment to developing international academic collaborations, including recently in Belgium. Following the International Department’s participation in the 2024 EAIE European Education Fair and a roadshow in Belgium last December, three new academic partnerships were signed, opening up new opportunities for our students and staff. Agreements were signed with:
- Maritime Academy in Antwerp, a major company in the naval sector, offering an engineering program in naval mechanics.
- Haute École Provinciale de Hainaut Condorcet, which specializes in aeronautics and offers an aeronautical engineering curriculum on the Charleroi campus.
- Haute École de la Province de Liège, which offers a course in electromechanical engineering – mechanical engineering and aerotechnics
These new ties will enhance enriching mobility opportunities for our students and diversify their academic and professional experience. They also open up prospects for exchanging academic and administrative staff, fostering knowledge sharing and joint projects.
ESTACA is thus continuing to strengthen its international reputation and develop opportunities for its academic community.
