Corsair and ESTACA join forces to train engineers for future aeronautical challenges

With over 40 years’ experience, the airline Corsair and ESTACA, the post-baccalaureate engineering school specializing in transport and sustainable mobility, have signed a partnership agreement.
The aim is to strengthen ties between the academic world and the aeronautics industry and raise awareness among the next generation of engineers of the technical and environmental challenges facing the sector.
This is the first ever partnership between these two benchmark companies and will run for 3 years.
Immersion in a company's operational challenges
Through this partnership, future aeronautics engineers will be able to immerse themselves in the sector’s current challenges, thanks to the participation of Corsair engineers during their training, but also industrial study projects relating to the real challenges faced by airlines.
Themed conferences and debates will also be on offer, led by several airline experts, to raise students’ awareness of topics such as optimizing flight operations and reducing an airline’s carbon footprint. Likewise, students will be hosted in Corsair’s maintenance hangar enabling them to familiarize themselves with the realities of the field.
The future engineers will also avail of the company’s support in career planning, through internship offers and simulated job interviews.
Fostering innovation and operational efficiency
Collaboration between an airline and an engineering school encourages the development of innovative technological solutions to improve the efficiency of the airline industry. This partnership offers students a unique opportunity to develop technical skills and knowledge directly applicable to the fields of sustainability and energy efficiency, in line with Corsair’s CSR initiatives and ESTACA’s strategic project.
