Lighter aircraft, reduced pollutant emissions, increased aircraft capacity, development and integration of electric controls: innovation is never-ending in the aeronautics sector to reconcile economic and technical performance in complete safety. To be an aeronautics engineer means designing and operating aircraft (planes, helicopters, balloons, drones) and embedded systems. This could mean technical management of a development program, conducting ground or flight tests, developing production methods, optimizing quality processes, prospecting for and negotiating contracts.
