ESTACA, a Business Partner

Industrial Collaborations

At ESTACA, business is associated with all important decisions in the life of the school and the students are in direct contact with those working in the transport sector throughout their courses. Representatives from industry are present on the school's governing bodies (Board of Directors, Strategic Committee and Development Committee). The majority of teachers are working engineers at EADS, Dassault, Alstom, CNES, ONERA, PSA Peugeot Citroën, RATP, Renault, SNCF, SNECMA, etc. They construct their courses according to the developments that they experience in their activities and allow students to create networks of professional contacts.

Numerous events are organised jointly with businesses. The ESTACA Forum gives opportunities for students to find work-experience courses or first jobs. Conferences, visits to manufacturing sites, etc., are regularly organised.

Over the last few years, ESTACA has been actively working with manufacturers on competitiveness clusters, which aim to bring together companies, research laboratories and higher-education institutions to develop R&D projects to improve the competitiveness of companies and regions.
