Sarah CROMER, ESTACA student, awarded the Ingénieuses'19 Prize
Sarah CROMER, a 4th-year ESTACA student, received the student engineer prize in the competition Ingénieuses’19 by the Conférence des Directeurs des Ecoles Françaises d’Ingénieurs (CDEFI).
For the 9th year running, the CDEFI is launching its communication campaign Ingénieuses to promote young women in science and technology and engineering careers. The campaign includes a competition to highlight initiatives by school, students and graduates in these societal issues.
Actively involved in associations since her first year at ESTACA, Sarah CROMER is currently a 4th-year student in the automotive option.
President of the ESTACA association PEGASE, involved in promoting the Sciences to young people in France, but also engaged in humanitarian missions in Senegal and Cameroon, Sarah is also active in the Jema by ESTACA project, a 100% student race team competing in professional motor racing championships in France.
During the Motor Show in October 2018, Sarah was selected to speak at the Mondial Women in front of 800 people in a TedxTalk format.
When awarding the Ingénieuses19 prize, Frédérique Vidal, Minister for Higher Education, Research and Innovation congratulated Sarah on her involvement in the association Pegase.
Quite a prize for a great career, that is only just beginning…
